We offer scholarships of $2,500 for incoming freshmen & $5,000 for undergraduate & graduate students.
Mentorship opportunities
An added benefit for scholarship recipients will be the opportunity to have a mentor from the food science industry and/or academia. The Student Mentorship Program is being planned for a 3-month time period with a total of 6 meetings September-November 2025.
This award is for U.S. college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are majoring in food science at an IFT-approved university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
This scholarship is available for undergraduate women who have completed at least one academic year of study with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Applicants must be employed or have been previously employed in a food retailing business, and must plan to pursue a career related to food retail.
The ASNT Fellowship Award provides financial support in the form of a $20,000 cash award to 5 students involved in high-quality research activities in science and technology at the graduate level (M.S. or Ph.D. candidates).
The fellowship is designed for assisting women in making a transition back into a professional career. Consequently, funds are generally not available for renewal beyond one year of support. Applicants must be a U.S. or Canadian citizens or legal residents and have completed work toward a Ph.D.

Hyundai Motor America is driven by better. From engineering a more sustainable and autonomous future in mobility for tomorrow to giving back to local communities today, everything Hyundai does is guided by one question: How can we make things better? To close the gender gap in STEM, they offer a Hyundai Women in STEM Scholarship. Participants must be high school seniors or undergraduate students who are female, reside in the United States and wish to pursue a STEM-related field of education. Eligible students can apply for the award by writing an essay of 500 words or more on why they chose to pursue a STEM-related field and what drives them to be better. Five scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each will be awarded to female students.
This scholarship is open to female U.S. incoming and current freshmen who are majoring in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, and systems engineering. Students must attend eligible schools as listed on the SWE website.

Our Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship program provides students with an opportunity to upgrade their careers with a $40,000 scholarship, plus a paid summer internship programming at Amazon.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, experience with computer science, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, short answer responses, unusual personal or family circumstances, financial need, racial/ethnic/gender diversity, and an educator appraisal, preferred to be completed by a computer science teacher.
