Joy Cappel Scholarship

Each year, the Joy Cappel Scholarship will award two life sciences students with $2,500 each. The scholarship is intended to foster a new generation of researchers and help support these young investigators in their scientific training. For more than 30 years, Rockland was guided by Joy Cappel, President and CEO. Mrs. Cappel’s vision to help define mechanisms underlying cell function and disease through antibody targeted detection is the motivational force behind this scholarship.

GyanDhan Scholarship

India’s first education financing marketplace, GyanDhan aims to equalize and expand access to education. Providing end-to-end education loan assistance, GyanDhan is a digital-first company that seeks to revolutionize education financing in India. Started with an aim to make abroad higher education more accessible to students, GyanDhan has helped tens of thousands of students in selecting the right financing option. In continuation of our efforts towards our aim, we are launching the GyanDhan Scholarship. This scholarship of INR 1 Lakh will be awarded to 1 student.

Satrix Saves The Seas Scholarship

The Satrix Saves The Seas Scholarship is a prestigious award aimed at supporting and encouraging students who are passionate about the field of life sciences and its applications to water conservation. This scholarship recognizes water’s critical role in sustaining life and ecosystems and seeks to foster innovative solutions and advancements in this area. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited universities or colleges, majoring in any discipline within the life sciences, including but not limited to biology, ecology, environmental science, biochemistry, and hydrology. Applicants should demonstrate a strong academic record, a genuine interest in water conservation, and a commitment to positively impacting this crucial field. Successful applicants will receive $250 in financial support to further their education and gain recognition for their dedication to water conservation. The scholarship award can be used to cover tuition fees, textbooks, research expenses, or any other educational costs.

Microsoft Imagine Cup Scholarship

The Imagine Cup Games Competition is a global contest for the best new student games and the winning team will take home $50,000 (US). Create a desktop or tablet game using Windows, or a mobile game using Windows Phone, or a browser game using Windows Azure and you could win big at the Imagine Cup World Finals in Seattle. Many of our competitions are intended for teams, so you may also need to create a team to participate. If a competition requires a team, you’ll be able to pick your team right on the Submission page. If you don’t have a team yet, you can create one in just a few moments – you just need a team name and team country, and you’re ready to go. This competition is intended for a team of experienced coders. As part of this competition, you’ll submit a complete piece of software, usable by our judges, as well as supporting documentation.

A1 Solar Scholarship to fight climate change

Climate change is a sensitive topic. For some, it’s some distant thing, and for some, it’s not a thing at all. And yet scientists report that global temperatures grow and summers get hotter with each year. A1 SolarStore team believes that the problem of climate change exists and if there is a solution, renewable energy is at least a part of it. Therefore the keys to the future of humankind lie in the hands of engineers. To increase awareness and keep the problem in the spotlight, we launch a scholarship to help applicants learn more about renewable energy and ways to use it against climate change.

The Shell Associate Scholarship Program

Shell Company (“Shell”) offers up to $2200 annual scholarships through the Shell Associate Scholarship Program fund to students pursuing an Associate degree in a specific technical and/or craft field of study at one of the specified institutions. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition and/or school expenses. If the necessary criteria are met, at Shell’s discretion, a student’s scholarship may be renewed up to 3 years or until Associate degree requirements are met, whichever occurs first. Scholarship recipients are notified during the summer following their application. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student remaining qualified. Please refer to the Scholarship Renewal Criteria section to review renewal requirements.

Shell Technical Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

Shell Company (“Shell”) offers $5,000 annual scholarships through the Shell Technical Fund Scholarship program to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a specific technical field of study at certain universities. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition and/or school expenses. If the necessary criteria are met, at Shell’s discretion, a student’s scholarship may be renewed up to four years or until Bachelor degree requirements are complete, whichever occurs first. Scholarship recipients are notified of their status during the summer following their application. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student remaining qualified.

Changing The World Scholarship

As dedicated advocates for victims of serious injuries, our Fort Lauderdale personal injury lawyers are passionate about changing the world for the better and making positive contributions through creative approaches and innovative solutions. This appreciation has led us to establish our biannual award, The Law Offices of John D. Ameen Changing The World Scholarship. Our firm recognizes students who share our commitment to innovation and positive change by offering a $1,000 award each semester to STEM majors throughout the United States. GeoScienceWorld Diversity and Representation Award

GeoScienceWorld is pleased to announce the launch of the GeoScienceWorld Diversity and Representation Award, a new annual scholarship program for graduate students in the geosciences. The awardee will receive $5000 USD and have their winning essay published in GSW’s OA journal, Lithosphere. The goal of this initiative is to lower barriers to participation for graduate students from historically marginalized communities (racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and/or disabilities) in the Earth Sciences, Planetary, or Earth Science-adjacent degree programs.

Jewish Federation Academic Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. college juniors and seniors who are Jewish and demonstrate career promise in a helping profession. Students must also meet one or both of the following criteria: he/she was born or raised in either Cook County, the Chicago metropolitan area, or northwest Indiana OR he/she has completed one continuous year of full-time employment in Cook County or the Chicago metropolitan area prior to starting professional education.
