Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student with at least 30 credits of study remaining at the time of application.
  4. Must plan to pursue a career in senior care.

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who plan to pursue a career in senior care.

Application requirements for the Senior Planning, Social Work, and Eldercare Scholarship Award are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: In the spirit of giving back and recognizing the next generation of senior care workers, this scholarship is provided annually to a U.S. student who is passionate about pursuing a career in the assistance of the elderly. Selection is based on responses to the question listed on the application, as well as the quality of recommendation letters received.

Award Amount: The 1st place winner will receive no more than $900 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $900.
