Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must live within Lancaster County, Nebraska.
  3. Must graduate from Waverly High School in Waverly, Nebraska.
  4. Must be seeking a degree in agriculture, home economics or veterinary medicine.
  5. Must be enrolled or plan to enroll full time at an accredited college or university.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate at the time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who live within Lancaster County, Nebraska and who plan to or have already graduated from Waverly High School in Waverly, Nebraska. Students must be seeking a degree in agriculture, home economics or veterinary medicine.

Application requirements for the Henry J. and Pauline M. Armstrong Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • SAR report
  • Transcript
Additional Information: Scholarships are available for current graduating seniors or former graduates of Waverly High School in Waverly, Nebraska, who demonstrate scholastic aptitude and achievement in high school and/or college studies, and financial need.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable. Previous recipients are eligible to re-apply.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
