Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  2. Must attend a college or university in the U.S.
  3. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must submit an essay on the trend of green technology on construction and home improvement.

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. and international students studying in the U.S. Applicants must be accepted to or currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. Selection will be based on essay submissions addressing this year's current topics.

Additional Information: HomeAdvisor has announced this essay contest in hopes of challenging students to think up creative ideas regarding green homes and energy-efficient improvements of existing construction. Answers will be graded based on their creativity, originality, quality and relevance towards green home improvement innovations.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
