Number of Awards & Eligibility: Three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled college/trade school student.
  3. Must be studying to become a plumber, HVAC technician, or sprinkler & irrigation specialist (or in a related field, such as construction management).

Description: This scholarship contest is open to high school seniors and currently enrolled students who plan to have a career in plumbing, HVAC, or sprinkler/irrigation systems (or a related field such as construction management). Students must submit a "how to" video on a home repair topic to apply.

Additional Information: Applicants must be attending a participating institution. If a prospective applicant's school is not participating, he/she is encouraged to have his/her school contact PlumbersStock. Only those going to schools within the United States are eligible. The program is designed with the intent that all participants can enhance their job placement prospects. All entries will be evaluated by a chosen panel of judges. They will be judged by the information presented, creativity, and overall quality (though production quality is the least important factor). Winners will be announced in April 30.

Award Amount: The student with the best video will receive $2,000 to complete their education. The two runners-up will both receive $500 in scholarship money. 25 students will receive "honorable mention" which will be documented on our blog. They can list this honor on their resume. With a quality video that you can show to prospective employers, you are sure to improve your employment potential. We designed our scholarship contest with this intent so that all participants can "win", in a sense.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
