Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a high school senior who plans to attend a four-year college or university the following year OR a current college/university student.
  4. Must have an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must have an interest in pursuing a career in one or more areas of video production: shooting, directing, lighting, editing, graphics and animation, sound design, producing, or writing. This scholarship is not intended for actors.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in pursuing a career in video production. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need.

Application requirements for the Rising Star in Production Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
  • Essay
Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. Funds will be issued directly to the recipient.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
