  2. Must be a high school senior.
  3. Must reside in Worcester County, Massachusetts.

Description: The Wallace D. and Dorothy M. Andrews Scholarship is available for African American students in Worcester County, MA. Students must be high school seniors at the time of application.

Application requirements for the Wallace D. and Dorothy M. Andrews Scholarship are:

  • Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: The Wallace D. and Dorothy M. Andrews Scholarship is provided annually through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). The scholarship will be awarded each year to an African American high school senior in Worcester County, MA who demonstrates a combination of academic achievement and unmet financial need. The GWCF has provided opportunity and financial assistance for more than 40 years in the central Massachusetts area, and continues this mission today with a variety of programs including scholarships for local area students. All applications completed prior to the deadline date will be given full consideration based on academic history, unmet financial need, and the strength of received recommendation letters.

Award Amount: Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,000. All awards are provided on a one-time basis and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
