In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be majoring in a nursing program related to wound care, ostonomy, or incontinence.
  3. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in a WOCN-accredited program.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. students who are planning to enroll in, or are currently enrolled in a wound, ostonomy, or continence nursing program accredited by WOCN.

Application requirements for the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter (x3)
  • Proof of enrollment or acceptance
Additional Information: Applicants can choose from seven WOCN-Accredited WOCNEPs in the U.S. Accreditation by the WOCN Society guarantees the student that the program meets established criteria regarding admission requirements, course content, clinical experience, qualified faculty and student/faculty ratio. Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
