Number of Awards & Eligibility: 50 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a current graduate college student.
  4. Must pursue an advanced degree in audiology or speech-language pathology.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Application requirements for the Sertoma Communicative Disorders Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
  • Transcript
Additional Information: Sertoma’s Communicative Disorders Scholarships Program provides more funds nationally for graduate level study in communicative disorders than any other single organization. Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 30.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
