Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be an undergraduate at time of application.
  4. Must be a resident of Michigan.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Must be enrolled during the grant period in an undergraduate degree program in information systems, business applications, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or information security.
  7. Must be female.
  8. Must be enrolled during the grant period in a full-time or part-time undergraduate degree program.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation (MCWTF) will award this scholarship to a female undergraduate student who is pursuing a degree in information systems, business applications, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or information security. The student must be a resident of Michigan and maintain a grade point average of 3.0.

Application requirements for the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Undergraduate Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: The merit of each applicant will be considered based on grade point average, technology-related activities, community service, personal essay, letters of recommendation and completeness of application.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, renewable for up to two additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.
