Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  3. Must have a grade point average of B- (2.75) or higher.
  4. Must reside in New Milford, Connecticut.
  5. Must be an incoming or current postsecondary student.
  6. Must intend to pursue or be pursuing a postsecondary degree in an agriculture-related field.

Additional Information: Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis with consideration given to academic record, extracurricular activities, work experience, financial need, recommendation letter, and an essay. The Scholarship Committees of the Connecticut Community Foundation select the recipients for final approval by the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Community Foundation. Announcement of final awards will be made in June. Students who are relatives of Connecticut Community Foundation Board of Trustees, Scholarship Committees, or staff members are ineligible to apply for scholarship support.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
