In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for international and U.S. doctoral and post-doctoral students who have a clearly demonstrated interest in environmental and waste management research.

Application requirements for the Francois Fiessinger Doctoral Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Awards are based on the applicant's academic or professional performance; the relevance of his/her work to the advancement of waste management science; and his/her potential for success. Full scholarships cannot be awarded to students who will be receiving full-tuition scholarships from other sources (excluding direct university assistance such as tuition remission and/or income received from assistantships), although such students may still be considered for partial awards.

Award Amount: A maximum of $14,400 per year and paid monthly, renewable each year to a maximum of three years from the initial award date.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $48,000.
