Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must have a minimum grade point average of a 3.0.
  3. Must be currently enrolled or about to attend an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States.

Description: The Children of First Responders Scholarship is available to a student with a parent who works as a first responder.

Application requirements for the Children of First Responders Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Resume
  • Documented proof confirming his or her parent’s status as a first responder (i.e. copy of badge # or ID).
Additional Information: The Hill & Associates, P.C., supports the hard work put forth, sacrifices made, and acts of selflessness displayed by first responders on a daily basis. However, much of their dedication to keeping our communities safe happens behind the scenes and can go unnoticed. For this reason, we are proud to offer a $1,500 scholarship for college-bound or current college students who are children of first responders, as a way to show our support and sincere gratitude for their parents’ services.

Award Amount: The grant value is $1,500, non-renewable  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
