Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be one of the following minorities as defined by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC): American Indian or Alaska Native; Asian or Pacific Islander; Black or African American; or Hispanic or Latino.
  3. Must be a full-time student.
  4. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must have a declared major in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering or in one of the environmental sciences (geology, hydrogeology, biology, ecology, public health, or industrial hygiene toxicology).
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  7. Must be enrolled as a college junior at the time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. students in their junior year of college who are American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian or Pacific Islander, Black or African American, or Hispanic or Latino and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students must have a declared major in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering or in one of the environmental sciences (geology, hydrogeology, biology, ecology, public health, or industrial hygiene toxicology).

Additional Information: The student may not receive more than one award from Brown and Caldwell at the same time.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable. Along with the monetary award, the recipient may participate in a paid summer internship at a Brown and Caldwell office, where a dedicated mentor will guide him/her through the company's information and communications resources.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
