Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a female.
  3. Must major in engineering.
  4. Must be a re-entry applicant. For the purpose of this award, a re-entry applicant is a woman who has been out of the engineering workforce as well as out of school for a minimum of two years prior to re-entry.
  5. Must be a returning undergraduate or graduate student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to undergraduate and graduate women majoring in engineering. This scholarship is intended for re-entry/non-traditional students.

Application requirements for the B.K. Krenzer Re-entry Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • College acceptance letter
  • Resume
Additional Information: This scholarship is intended for re-entry/non-traditional students. Applicants may not be current recipients of a renewable SWE scholarship or receiving full funding for education from another organization (such as members of the armed services attending US military academies and students receiving full reimbursement from an employer.) The applicant must enroll or plan to enroll in a program accredited by ABET. Information on accredited schools is available online at main.abet.org/aps/Accreditedprogramsearch.aspx.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
