Number of Awards & Eligibility: Three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a law school.
  4. Must be pursuing a law degree.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.

Description: This award is for U.S. students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited U.S. law school. Students must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.

Application requirements for the Goodwin & Scieszka Innovation Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Essay
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The applicant will be judged on his/her academic merits, as well as the content of the application essay he/she provides.

Award Amount: One Grand Prize winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, and two runners-up will each receive a $500 scholarship. All awards are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
