In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. law school students who display a commitment to serve the Asian Pacific American community. Students must be attending an accredited law school at least half-time.

Application requirements for the Chris Nakamura Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • Resume
  • Application form
Additional Information: In 2003, the Foundation named one of these scholarships in memory of Chris Nakamura, a leader of the Asian Pacific American legal community of Arizona. The Chris Nakamura NAPABA Law Foundation Scholar will be awarded $2,500.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
