Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must plan to attend the University of North Florida.
  4. Must be a current UNF undergraduate student OR a first-time-in-college student OR a transfer student who has earned an A.A. degree or 60 credit hours.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher if a current UNF student OR have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher if a first time in college or transfer student.
  6. First-time-in-college students must have an SAT score of 1200 or higher OR an ACT score of 26 or higher.
  7. Must be a declared major in computer science, information systems, information science, or information technology.
  8. Must enroll full time (12 or more credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credit hours by the end of each academic year.

Description: This scholarship is for students who are first-time-in-college freshmen, transfer students, or currently enrolled undergraduate students at the University of North Florida. Students must major in an area in the School of Computing and meet certain academic requirements.

Additional Information: The University of North Florida's School of Computing is proud to offer this scholarship sponsored by ADECCO Group North. Scholarship recipients must: maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; remain in good standing as a student; comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus; and consent to release grades to the Division of Institutional Advancement for the purpose of reporting to the donor.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable.The amount of the award will be determined by the fund manager, but it cannot exceed the maximum cost of tuition, books, campus housing, meal plan, transportation and miscellaneous expenses, as reflected in the annual "Cost of Education" budget prepared by the UNF Financial Aid Office.Current recipients may apply for renewal and will be given preference pending availability of funding and if the applicant continues to meet all selection criteria and responsibilities. No student will be eligible to receive more than eight semesters of scholarship support. Transfer students are limited to at most four semesters of scholarship support.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
