Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two undergraduate and two graduate awards offered annually. The number of awards may vary.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be an enrolled member of a U.S. federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group.
  2. Must be a current college junior or senior OR an incoming graduate or professional student.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be pursuing a career and degree in fields relating to banking, resort management, gaming operations, management and administration (including accounting, finance, information technology, and human resources).
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Must enroll as a full-time student.
  7. Must be a U.S. citizen.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. college juniors and seniors and graduate/professional students who are of Native American or Alaskan Native descent and pursuing a degree in fields relating to banking, resort management, gaming operations, management and administration (including accounting, finance, information technology and human resources). Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demostrated financial need.

Additional Information: The scholarship program is sponsored and funded by Wells Fargo and administered by the American Indian Graduate Center. Applicants will be evaluated based on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, commitment to preserving American Indian culture and communities, proof of enrollment in a United States federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native tribe, and demonstrated financial need.

Award Amount: Undergraduate awards are $2,500 and graduate awards are $5,000. All awards are non-renewable. Award amounts may vary.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,750.
