Number of Awards & Eligibility: There will be one scholarship given to each district winner in the 32 districts, and there will also be 6 international scholarships awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be undertaking a business and/or business-related program at an accredited college, university, or institute.
  3. Must be a female.
  4. Must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a masters program at the time the application is submitted.

Description: This scholarship is for U.S. and international female students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a business-related field. Students must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a master's program at the time the application is submitted.

Application requirements for the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letters (2)

  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: Applicants must have achieved outstanding academic records during their academic studies, including business-related subjects. Applicants must also have demonstrated initiative, ambition, and commitment to pursuing a career in business. Applicants from geographic areas where no clubs are located will be considered and also eligible to apply for the district/region scholarship. Online students are also eligible. Members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation are not eligible to apply.

Award Amount: District scholarships are provided in amounts of up to $2,000 and international scholarships are up to $8,000. All awards are non-renewable. Past recipients may not reapply.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,947.
