It gives students that graduate a "world perspective" and almost 2,000 undergraduate students are international students. SCSU is also known for its hockey program which made it to the frozen four last year.

St. Cloud State University is most known in this area for being very multi-cultural; both within the faculty & the student body. It is also known as a party school. I see & hear about this a lot at SCSU, however, it isn't so extreme that you can't completely avoid it either.

St Cloud State is an old school, with a long history of tradition and as a quality educational institution. I have been very happy with the staff I have worked with and the classes I have taken. St Cloud State is also known for it's strong hockey program.

I would say that this school is known for its connections. There is many opportunities to study abroad in other countries and universities around the world that have a history of exchange or study programs. Most of them sound exciting to me, but they are very expensive. Even for the short trips over the summer i would need some sort of federal grants to help me pay for the cost.
