Most of the people who attend this school are of conservative backgrounds, so people of different backgrounds might be left out but should not be discouraged from wanting to attend this university.

It's no secret that Mississippi is extremely conservative. If an enviroment run by religion, where equality is a dirty word, would bother the student, they should look into other schools.

You shouldn't attend MSU if you are not committed to the classes.

Anybody willing to enjoy the true experience of a college town should go to Mississippi State. There is a place for everybody to fit in.

I think any kind of person can attend this school as long as they are driven and want to achieve. Though, the distance learning may be difficult for those whom aren't self disiplined. You have to make your deadlines and get your work turned in on time.

I wanted to go into the medical field, but I wouldn't suggest coming here if you want to be a doctor.

The only type of person who should not attend school is the person who has no work ethic or desire to obtain a degree to get a good job.

If you are the kind of person that does not like to go out of your way to help someone, or is not willing to try new things then I wouldnt suggest this campus. There are many oppurtunities out there for people looking to be alone, this campus just is not one of them.

The type of person that shouldn't attend the school are people who aren't ready for to be challenged in the classroom.
