Iowa State University has a rich history and there are so many traditions that have been kept throughout the year. For example it is a tradition to kiss your sweetheart at midnight under the Campanille, our schools clock tower. Also, the campus is beautiful during every season of the year.

One of the most unique characteristics of Iowa State University is how beautiful it is. Out of all the colleges I've seen, Iowa State has the most beautiful campus. There is greenery every where. There are huge grass lawns in the middle of campus that are surrounded by beautiful buildings, old and new.

The thing I brag about most about Iowa State University is how incredible the students and staff are. Whether you need advice or simply someone to listen to, you can always find someone on campus who is more than willing to talk to you and will help you when you are going through a rough time in your academic career or social life. There is always someone to help lift you up when you feel as if you have hit rock bottom

Our school spirit and opportunity for invovlement!

During Dead Week (the week before finals), our school had a local animal shelter bring in puppies for the students to play with. They were really cute and adorable and offered as chance to relax and release all the stress that we were feeling. Best part was that it was free and easily accessible to all students during the entire time they were on campus each day.

The material that I have learned from my classes

The number of extracurriculars is insane! I had the opportunity to get involved with a whole spectrum of activities and meet/network with some fantastic ISU students who will be future industry leaders. The opportunities are literally limitless to meet others, learn something new and get out of your comfort zone -- which is what college is, right?

Great educational opportunities, plenty of majors to choose from, and over 800 clubs for just about any interest or hobby imaginable!

I brag about the wide variety of clubs and organizations that are avaliable to get involved with.

Professors at Iowa State are amazing teachers. The fitness center offers a large variety of exercise equipment and fitness classes. Almost any extra-curricular activity imaginable is offered at Iowa State, plus the food is pretty good.

I tell people about the job opportunities, the amazing, life-long friends I've already made, and the fun times I've had going Greek.

When I brag about my school it is usually about the quality of the education vrs. the cost and it is also about the job placement rate that the school has for its undergraduates (+95{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} within 6 months of graduation)

I feel inspired upon leaving lectures because my instructors are passionate, both about their proffessions and instilling that same excitement into their students. As a result, the students are not treated as "kids" but as adults; this attitude has allowed the students at Iowa State to truly develop and appreciate the skills of patience, collaboration, creativity, accountabiliity and innovation. Even the campus is an inspiration--the foliage has all been strategically planted and serves specific functions in the same ways that the buildings and other structures do!

I brag most about campus, very beautiful campus, condensed and easy to get around. Great public transportation system.

I brag that my college is very pretty, the people are really nice, they are very helpful, and it is the best decision i made that i decided to attend Iowa State University.

I tell my friends that the campus is absolutely gorgeous and the buildings are a work of art. Also, the opportunites and resources avaliable to students are second to none when it comes to free tutors, gym memberships, job opportunites and job fairs and the stories of past students and their success only drives me to work even harder.

The campus. Our campus is beautiful; it is ultimately why I decided to go to ISU. We habe a big school feel while it is condensed into a single campus that isn't spread throughout a city. On campus we have a cental area that contains the campanile, multiple grassy areas, and beautiful buildings. ISU is a land grant university which requires each building to contain art. This has resulted in an equally well decorated campus inside.

When I need to one up my friends about their college stories, I usually use the topic of nightlife. Obviously every college has their big party weekends and everyone talks about how much they drank or who they stayed with. But throughout my college years, I took a different approach and my friends, as they search for full time positions, now see why. Going into college many of us heard the phrase, "It's not about what you know, it's who you know." I used this to my advantage outside the classroom, and met as many peoplle as possible.
